Greek Week Themes
Does anyone have a really awesome Greek Week theme to share? I am a co-chair for Clarion's Greek Week, and all the themes I've found were along the lines of "No matter the letter...Greeks do it better" and crap like that. Suggestions would be wonderful!!!

We had "lets get ready to rumble" a couple years ago. That was a good focus for the lip synch(which we kicked all kinds of ass in!!!!)

Last year at USF, our theme was "Life's a Beach." We had cute shirts that looked like something by Quicksilver. Our team was team 6, so our team name was "Six on the Beach"
This years theme is a SECRET! Kickoff is in January, and then everyone will find out.

We had the Greek Olympics. The teams were made up of a fraternity, sorority, and an NPHC group. We had different events all week. Awards were given out to the teams that came in first, second, and third place. It was so much fun!

I would tell you just to take a current catchphrase and make it greek. For example, when "got milk?" could be "Got Letters?" I am trying to think of something recent and coming up blank, but you get the idea.

I've seen last years Greek Week t-shirts and they were pretty sweet.
on the front, they had greek week spelled out in greek letters (gamma, rho, epsilon, epsilon, kappa - omega, epsilon, epsilon, kappa)
and then on the back it had a logo that said "Letters Today, Leaders tomorrow Greek Week 2001"
There might have been some other stuff but i was struck by those things on the t-shirt. I have no idea if there was another theme to go along.

The overall theme for our greek week last year was "Oh the places we will go" and each pair chose their own theme relating to that. Ours was South of the Boarder. Another was I <3 NY. If your chapter/s just have to come up with a completely arbitrary theme, one year we did The Goonies (like the movie).

We did a fun one last year that was called "Greeks throughout the Decades". It made for a fun Greek Sing!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I will take them back after school starts again, and all the chapters will vote on them. I'll let you know the outcome. In the mean time, please keep the suggestions rolling in!
Happy Holidays!

I remember one of ours was "Membership has its privileges" which was cute.
