RUSH time!
So, how's everyones Rush going?
We just had our Open last night, 3 girls showed (1 legacy) and we're giving out 7 Invites (the road conditions are still dangerous so many could not make it).
Ya know, it'd be nice to have a 7 girl pledge class.....

School just started for the girls today. But the new greek advisor complimented on how prompt we were. (We were staking, chalking, and assembling our booth yesterday.)
I think the girls will do well. They have elected two of the most enthusiastic girls in the chapter as recruitment chairs.

well- rush is this weekend- but how about our BOILER is completely shot and we have no heat in our massive mansion which is super awesome for us- but not to mention the fact we don't know if it will be fixed in time for recruitment.... our house is 76 years old and is 11,000 square feet- so this is a bigggg problem
but otherwise- we are looking at a successful rush... keep ya posted

I went to the recruitment event last night. It was SOOO much fun. We rented out a place near campus that has two rooms with 5 "bouncy house" type things in each of them. There were blow up obsticle courses and slides. Good times.
We had *I think* 8-9 girls there. The ones I spoke to seemed nice. And we played a game of dodge ball with the staff (which were a couple of high school guys.) We kicked their asses!
I HIGHLY recommend taking your chapter to a place like this. I'm sure there are places similar to it. We were all tired after a half hour, but it was well worth it and great exercise. I felt like I was five all over again.

We are about half way through our COB. We have 5 spots open, and it looks like there are only 3 girls who we will give bids to and will accept. It's been very difficult this semester....but at least me made quota during FR.
The big problem with being in such a small town is that there isn't much to do here. We can go out to dinner, or go see a movie, or do something on our hall, and that's about it. I miss my big city life!

We have quite a bit of rushes, but I think were going to cut it down to about 10 pledges.

We had 17 girls rush in total. Now we have 13 great new pledges. I am really excited because I have a little sister now!
