Names Needed for High Honor
During the 75th Anniversary of the Levere Memorial Temple, the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation unveiled our newest memorial, the
Eagle of Freedom. Standing proudly and illuminated in the rear of the Peace Chapel, the statue will contain the names of those brothers who’ve lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001.
The Fraternity Service Center, however, cannot complete the plaque unless members and friends of Sigma Alpha Epsilon submit names. Unfortunately, there is no easy method to collecting the information we need. That’s why we’re turning to our most valuable resources – you.
If you know the name of a brother who perished in the 9/11 attacks or in the conflicts with Afghanistan and Iraq, please forward as much of that person’s information as possible to
editor@sae.net. Specifically, we need the brother’s name, college or university and service branch, if known. Also specify which conflict took his life.
With your help and by passing this message on to other brothers, Sigma Alpha Epsilon can honor our fallen brothers properly for sacrificing their lives for our freedom. Submissions cna be made until December 31, 2006.
