I am program chairman for the coming year in my chapter in Hendersonville, TN. We have chosen Famous Women of Beta Sigma Phi as our theme in honor of the 75th Anniversary year. I'd like to know of famous women who have been Beta Sigma Phi's from your area, ie. women in politics, women in show business, women in philanthropies, etc. They can be honorary members as well as members and past members. They may be living or deceased. For example, our Nashville City Council chose Minnie Pearl from the Grand Ole Opry as an honorary member a number of years before her death. As well as being in show business Mrs. Sarah Cannon (Minnie) was a distinguished and honored citizen of Nashville who had done much for our city. Please share with me if you know of anyone, even if they are only well known in your city or state. And of course, if you share, I'll need some biographic information.
