What crazy hazing rumors have gone around your campus?

I found this thread when I used google to find an old hazing article about a local high school. I've been very entertained!

My college boyfriend was in a frat and I always asked him about his hazing stories because they were so funny. Here's what he went through, and I assure you that it's all true because he wasn't clever enough to come up with this stuff on his own (hence, why he's my ex now, ha ha).

-They'd boil cans of beer in a pot and he'd have to drink them. He said most guys chugged theirs to get it over with.
-The pledges had to wear shirts and ties all week when not at the house.
-When at the house, the pledge would wear a shirt designed by his big brother. Most of these were white T's with the nipples cut out.
-The members told him that one night's ritual (sorry if wrong term) was really bad and kept insinuating it involved a sheep. The pledges were terrified when they were led blindfolded into a room and the members kept "bahh-ing" at them. Then two female strippers showed up and put on a girl-on-girl show complete with toys.
-Pledges were put in the back of an SUV with their feet submerged in ice water while the members drove around town.
-Paddling. He showed me his paddle. It had a groove in it from being spanked so much.
-They could only eat whatever the members gave them. I forget details, but it was gross. The pledges were escorted to class to make sure they didn't try to sneak food. My ex's friend hid a $20 bill in the lining of his tie and they snuck out of class to get food. After they were allowed to eat normally again, they all went out to dinner, but no one could eat much because their digestive tracts were all messed up.
-When a pledge had to go to the ER, they'd leave him at the ER doors because they couldn't let anyone know about the hazing.
-Members used pledges as maids, errond-boys, etc..
-If not in class, they had to be at the house.
-No showering.
-They'd be woken in the middle of the night to do push-ups, sit-ups, etc.
-Once they got a bid, pledges couldn't have sex. First night of Hell Week members asked who got laid last night. The kid that raised him hand got paddled.
-Pledges would have to jump off the roof and hope the members would catch him.

That's all I remeber. I heard that when a guy gives a girl his pin, his frat brothers do something evil to him. Since I was so amused by his stories, and we were so in love (blah, blah) he did give me his pin, but told me at our school it wasn't considered a big thing. Wonder if that's really true...

there is one sorority rumor on my campus that they put peanut butter on there pledges you know what, and had to let a dog lick it off....

I have heard the "fat circling" rumors about every sorority on my campus. It's ridiculous.

Rumors on our campus are so ramdon

TKE (that's me)- We make the pledge jump off the St Vince Thomas Bridge (keep in my...people have died doing it in the past...not from TKE)

SAE- they eat donuts off of their big bro

Sig Pi- The circle J***

Kappa Sig- Eleplant Walk

Gamma Phi Beta- The circle body fat on the girls

Delta Delta Delta- They have a forum in meeting were they talk about guys they hooked up with a rate them

ALpha Phi- they fine people that aren't wearing make-up


All these rumors I feel are not true...I think they are craZY...If people do this stufff...why would they put up with it

Has no one mentioned the flagpole? Pledges have to line up and crawl up a flagpole. The guy that goes up has a candy bar in his ass. If it falls out, the guy behind him has to eat it.

Yeah, my roomate when I was pledging was CONVINCED that I was going to be thrown off the Vincent St. Thomas bridge (connects Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles/San Pedro)...

That, my friends, would certainly lead to death... If you know which bridge this is, you'd know that it would be suicide...
That thing is a MAJOR bridge that has a height that probably rivals the George Washington bridge in the east...

yall keep sayin all these hazing things are "rumors" i dont know about yalls schools but in the SEC hazing rumors are definitely not rumors, either yall's fraternities don't haze and can therefore be considered sororities or it's just completely covered up
