Sep 1th and Rush

We had rush in August before school even started so it had no effect on rush. Nothing shut down and it was just another day. Thankfully none of my family and friends were there.

I don't know how it affected rush. I noticed that a lot of guys are like...what now? ARe we going to get drafted. That is a scary thought. Some people in ROTC here got called up to be on alert. How scary would that be. ONe day you are in classes, taking notes and the next day you're called saying you there is a chance you might die. That sucks. I was a play at the time. WE had reheresal that evening. The director didn't talk about it that day. There is a saying amoung actors/theater folk. The show must go on. We didn't stop for that. I don't think rush should either. Because if we let terrorists stop us from conducting our lives normally, then they win. Thats what they wanted to do. Stop us from having liberty. I'm starting to go off now so i'll make a new thread in chit chat.

sept 11th was the 2nd day of our week long rush...it was indeed bad timing, and did hurt the overall attendence.
