No one will beat miami in the national title game LSU isn't top notch and tennessee always blows the big bowl games.

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!! Our guys really deserved it tonight. They pulled it together and came up with a win without our qb and one of our best players. I'm so excited and happy for our guys. Y'all should hear everybody on campus right now. It's CRAZY!!!!!! Everybody's screamin and honkin their horns. Now let the controversy begin!!! Dude let me tell you right now I am not an lsu fan. I could care less if lsu wins or not, 3 sec loses and still a bcs game is not impressive at all. yet tenn never can beat anyone under pressure it seems like.

See I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. I think you've forgotten that the Sugar Bowl is held in New Orleans. Not that the location really matters but we have serious home field advantage and LSU feeds off of the crowd. They always get hyped up for big games like this and I just don't see us losing in the Superdome. Not to go ahead and jinx myself but I'm just never wrong about these things!!!
Plus we just beat the #2 team in the nation...I'm thinking we can handle #7 just fine.

True, very true, besides, i've hated the Vols since they came to Cuse and beat us by 1 back in 98 on a bs penalty but hey, I'm not bitter.

This is why a playoff system is needed, we just need the top 8 teams in a playoff for one true championship. The only bowl that matters this year is the rose. The sugar is the worst of the bcs games this year since its a 3 loss team vs illinois which is weak. Games like this one don't matter. They should get rid of these in favor of playoff games.
I am lookin forward to seeing Colorado and oregon face off, and of course, miami and neb probably.

I'll give ya the home field advantage thing. But, a string of a few good games means little. Case in point, Syracuse was 9-3 heading into the fiesta bowl in 98 on an 8 game win streak, and they got beaten on by KSU 35-17, the difference in talent level was awful, and that was WITH MCNabb. Illinois has been strong all year, and good teams don't let crowd get to em anyways. But, I'll give LSU some credit on this, which is why the sugar bowl score won't be all that bad...

Hey, playoffs work for Div 2 and implementing the bowls wont be an issue, just keep the BCS ones as the Semis and finals, all the lesser ones for the earlier rounds, piece of cake.
