I happened to see this in yesterday's paper about my alma mater's Sigma Nu Chapter in the next county..
Sigma Nus helped with an annual youth football bowl. The event was over 2 weekends, served over 2,100 kids and raised more than $18,000. The money is redistributed to the community for the Community Shelter, the Soup Kitchen, the Children's Home, a 4-H Scholarship, Girl's Leadership Academy, nursing home beauty pagents, the Veterans Memorial Park and others. "The event was a time for the communicty and the Sigma Nu brothers to come together and helo build a better Carrollton. The borthers of Sigma Nu represented not only THEIR OWN FRATERNITY, BUT THE STUDENTS OF UWG in helping the youth of Carrollton in this annual event".
