 | I'm glad it's the normal version too, although I *will* admit I got hooked into the drama of the family edition and the dislike of certain teams...

The family edition is different, it mostly highlights the American scenery and culture. Even though it would be very interesting (and dangerous, especially with anti-American movement) to have small kids running around in Addis Ababa airport or Kathmandu palace.

Our office pool will be drawn next week!

In preparation for the next AR, our office pool will again form. Ten teams - ten members of the pool - five bucks per member. Teams are randomly drawn. Winner walks away with $50. Not much, but it gets people into the race.
However, another office pool I heard of (ok, I helped the manager win that one!) had each member of the pool have to give a weekly prediction of first in, last in, and not eliminated. Each correct answer got you points and the winner at the end walked off with close to $500.00.

 Cheers!

 | I couldn't watch family edition...it wasn't fun to me. Glad to see a normal version is coming back! I'll have to set the TiVo, since I have a class until 9.

 | Is that really so many people in your office big into TAR? Wow. Half of our office have never heard of TAR before.

Yup! Amazing Race all the way! We can't discuss the previous night's events until we have made sure everyone has seen it!
What can I say ... my office dreams of being globe trotting nerds!

LOL the "frat" guys are cool. Hippies are weird. Pink girls are hot. Mo Jo is unique. Older couples are heartrobbing. The daughter/mom team is kewl. The Texas ladies are entertaining.
What's up with the "Genie" stuff? |

Sorry ... the Frosties and their yelling was terrible! I admit that it was cute when one peed her pants, but the yelling was like they were five years old.
Sad to see the Gay team out. The taller one grew so much in just that one episode.

I LOVE the hippies!! That frilly shirt, those red pants, that long hair! So Hait-Ashbury!
