'm pretty sure those are the ones that my friend got. They wouldn't fit in his ear properly and he asked me about it and google showed a ton of people that were unhappy with it.
I use Shure. The cheapest one is 99 I think but on ebay or other places you can find it for like 75. Those are incredible quality and will also keep you from going deaf.

My iPod's battery isn't staying charged the way it used to. It's two years old. I'm not really sure what to do. Does anyone know anything about battery replacement?
My earbuds broke also. I just use a regular headset. In NYC people have had their iPods stolen on the subway because they were wearing those obvious white earbuds. I don't like the way the earbuds feel in my ears anyway so I wasn't too disappointed.

Once the battery is dead, the replacement is basically a new IPOD. If you have apple care and your under 2 years old (apple care is for 2 years), they will give you a new one for free. If you don't have apple care, it is, I believe $100 to get a new one of the same model you currently have.

Both the husband and I have these and for headphones under $20, they're not bad. They have a tendency to slip out of my ears if I'm moving around a lot (working out, etc..), but I've yet to find a pair of earbuds that fit me really well (small ears? I dunno). The husband likes them a lot. Sound quality is decent.

Thanks Amy. I was afraid of this. This iPod is 2 years and almost 2 months. I was hoping that the battery could be changed. It works fine except that the charge only lasts an hour. I carry my charger whenever I use my iPod. I need to go to techserv for my Mac so maybe they can help me out.

How is the replacement a new ipod if the replacement is a new battery?
http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/battery/
http://www.ipodjuice.com/
And it's 59 from Apple itself and cheaper from a third party provider.
