Happy Belated Founders' Day to the women of Delta Delta Delta--the only NPC group that I've heard two NPHC sorors--a Delta (Hampton) and an AKA(Howard)--rave about.

Happy Founders' Day!
I am curious - do you celebrate Thanksgiving Eve as Founders' Day and let it move around from year to year as Thanksgiving moves, or do you celebrate on the same date each year?

aephi alum,
We celebrate it on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving every year; so yes, it moves every year although the date was actually November 27th.

I see - interesting. I am especially curious because I am a Thanksgiving baby - I was born on Nov. 28, which is the latest date on which Thanksgiving can fall. So my birthday would have fallen out on Thanksgiving in 1888.
I turn 30 tomorrow *sob*

Sobbing? There's no sobbing over 30! 30 is awesome! You're still cute, plus now you have more money and experience than when you were in your 20s.
Happy Birthday!

Hey! that's my grandma's birthday. She was awesome, and I'm sure that Delta Delta Delta is too! Many happy returns.
