IMO, catfish is the meat for one meal, and spaghetti is the entree for another meal. The two do not belong together.
It's also a southern thing. When spaghetti is used as a side, you just don't get as much as you would if you were eating it as an entree. It's good, you should try it.

Live a little!!! Let your taste buds explore *wink*.

Naw, but we don't use the raisins. Just the yams and marshmallows. You never had sweet potatoe suffle?? That's what it is. Like at Bosten Market. Do you all have one?

Catfish is a southern thing. Southerners also eat spaghetti. But I have yet to see this as a meal that southerners eat. I was born and raised in the South. If this is also a southern thing, then wow. I just learned something new.

As long as I get some good peach cobbler I'm good. That's my favorite dessert.

Ditto on this.

I actually don't want the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I would be happy with some catfish, greens, spaghetti, and hush puppies with vanilla ice cream and fudge browies for dessert.
*Dancing*yes yes yes and some homemade rolls

I'm still stuck on the catfish and spaghetti thing. Now I've heard of catfish and grits (amazed at that too) but wowsers @ spaghetti as a side item. Is it traditional spaghetti?? Like sauce, BEEF and noodles?
