Iota Phi Theta suffers a loss
Subj: Iota Family loses a Brother
From: <Nate.Williams@finnegan.com>
Greetings, Brothers of Iota Phi Theta, Inc.,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the loss of our brother, John Jerrold. John was killed in an automobile accident on Tuesday evening while driving home to Woodbridge, VA.
John, or "Zodiac" as he was affectionately known, was a Past Mid-Atlantic Regional Polaris, a loyal member of good standing in Beta Omega, Washington DC Alumni Chapter, and a TRUE Iota Man. He began his membership more than 20 years ago with Delta Chapter and was active up until his untimely demise. We are all deeply saddened at his passing and mourn the loss of one so dear.
His family will hold a memorial service on Friday, the 26th of October, at 7:00 pm, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 13900 Churchfield Drive, Woodbridge, VA. The family has opted for cremation.
His good and faithful service not only as a member, but also as a leader in this fraternity demands that we acknowledge his passing and give him the respect he earned.
We are calling upon all Mid-Atlantic Brothers to assemble on Friday October 26 at 7:00 pm. Beta Omega brothers are asked to be there by 7:00 to help distribute flowers. If you cannot make the service, please remember to observe a moment of silence at 7:00 pm on Friday.
Regretfully,
Nate Williams
Beta Omega Chapter
Assistant Regional Polaris to Bro. John Jerrold, 1995-96
