BWAHAHAHA!!! Yeah, I'd pass on that one.

I had this reeeeeally creepy doll that I was afraid of. I couldn't just put her in the closet or toy chest because, of course, that would just make her mad, so I had to keep her out in the room.
1. I'm still creeped out by baby dolls. I used to watch Twilight Zone and there's an episode about a killer doll named "Talking Tina". Anyhoo, had just gotten a life-sized baby doll for Christmas and I was soooo happy. Then my dingbat cousin made the remark to my mother - in front of me - "She still walking around with Talking Tina??" That was it for me. In the closet she went.

2. Clowns - the smiles look like screams to me. Then in high school I read Stephen King's IT, and that was how he described IT's smile; then later I saw the movie. Enough said. Still don't like them.

3. The HAND under the bed that will grab your foot.
4. Uncovered mirrors at night - thanks to my grandmother who had to have mirrors covered at night. It was because of some old SC superstition & I overheard her saying she awoke & saw something other than her reflection in it once.

I now know that the nanny was off her rocker but to this day I close my closet door at night. I get a weird feeling when the lights are off and my closet door is still open.
Me too, in fact I have somewhat of an obsession with making sure my closet doors are closed even during the daytime. As a child I wasn't scared of the monsters under the bed, I was convinced they all lived in my closet.

Flushing toilets- I thought when I flushed ghost or witches were going to come up out of the pipes and get me and drown me, so I would flush and run out of the bathroom as fast as I could.

The Grateful Dead Bears (honestly). I used to have NIGHTMARES about them. I swear my parents smoked too much weed before I was born and around me as a child.

Mine is so lame:

-The Count from Sesame Street.

I thought he hid in our laundry room (to this day I still turn on the light every time I pass it), in my closet, and under my bed. One of my friends bought a shirt with his face on it recently and I couldn't look at it! I made her put on a sweater.

^^^^^^

LOL! That was funny.

sorry.

I already listed some fears, but I was afraid of Blacula & all things related to vampires (except the Count. ) Yep - same dingbat cousin watched it in front of me. Then, oh... about 2 yrs ago when I got up enough nerve to watch Vampire movies and shows I finally watched it again & was like - I was afraid of this???

I refused to watch any "Child's Play" or "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies until high school.

That was hilarious!!! And I'm so glad to find that somebody else was terrified of the stupid Count too. I feel so validated!
