I don't know if I made this clear but I don't really know how else to put it.

Gamma Phi Delta is a christian fraternity (as well as co-ed) I don't know if we have regulations about this. Can someone help me out?
I was referring to Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc, which was founded in 1943 and has around 70 chapters.

Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity was founded in 1988 and according to their website, has only 9 chapters.

naw, i really don't care about your posts. i'm posting my comments about them because i can.

You say that (read: I don't care...) an awful lot, yet you go against your own grain by posting. And I know I'm not the only one on GC who told you that.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say you are my own personal groupie. I guess the name calling is actually subtle terms of endearment. How flattering. Why didn't you come to Columbus and meet me in person at least? I'd figure since you go to great lengths to "not care" about my posts, you would at least extend a little common courtesy. Dang.

i gave you an example of an intellectual discourse. sticking to the topic and not diverging is a good start, junior birdman.

Just like what you doing right now?

Practice what you preach and stop it with the contradictions, bro.

Furthermore, in this thread, I did do the following:

Answered the OP question and provided objective info and empirical evidence.

no, i'm answering YOUR question. and take a note..posting doesn't equate caring. i just do it because this is a message board. i do it because i want.

my frat brothers know why i didn't make to conclave this year. i'll meet you if we're ever in the same city. as it is, i don't think i'll be making my way to ohio anytime soom. but if i was, meeting one such as yourself wouldnt' exactly rank high on priority of things to do.

the stipulations for membership in the NPHC were posted. if other orgs want to join. they know what to do. either get their weight up, or petition to get the rules changed. making snide comments on how the guidelines are too rough doesn't equate an answer.

I see a big problem with eliminating the NPHC and allowing ourselves to be outnumbered (and maybe even overpowered) in a unified council by the plethora of IFC and NPC organizations.
I actually agree with you on that one.

NIC/NPC orgs outnumber NPHC orgs almost 10-1.

Besides there are some critical service and social agendas the NPHC have and promote that would probably be ignored and/or dismissed by the majority council members should all three councils unite.

To elaborate more on my original response to the OP's question (yes, there will probably be a 10th group in about 20 years, if not sooner), the biggest hindrance to the non-NPHC orgs is that their existence functions more as a regional GLO than as a national GLO. In other words, their exposure as far as how well known they are as an org is limited to the region they primarily exist in. For instance, here is a list of orgs and the primary region they serve:

Phi Eta Psi - Midwest, primarily in Michigan
Phi Delta Psi - Midwest
Phi Omicron Psi - Eastern seaboard (MD/DC area)
Phi Alpha Psi - Eastern seaboard (MD/DC area)
Beta Phi Pi - Midwest
Phi Rho Eta - Midwest, primarily in Illinois
Delta Psi Chi - Midwest, primarily in Wisconsin
Gamma Phi Eta - South, primarily in Georgia (assuming they still exist)
Xi Gamma Phi - South, primarily in Georgia (assuming they still exist)

Note that I am focused on those orgs that were founded prior to 2000.

The only non-NPHC org whose chapters covers a more broader area scope is Gamma Phi Delta. Unfortunately, I don't know to what magnitude, since it appears their website only lists currently active chapters and it looks like a lot of their undergraduate chapters are inactive.

Note that while G Phi D has chapters in multiple regions, there are no chapters in the Mid Atlantic (NY/NJ area), New England, and Rocky Mountain/Great Plains states. But I am sure that as time goes on, those areas will be covered as well.

Hope this helps.
Sorry, folks. Reposted b/c Starang never saw my objective, empirical answer and I wouldn't want him to miss it.

After your pages of bitter nonsense, you decided to concede and further our points.

so what does this all mean? that these orgs need to get their weight up and meet the requirements if they want to petition for membership? that eventually someone will meet the requirements? this posts, nor your subsequent posts on the attidudes on d9'ers are relevant. come better, dru down.

Well now you got it and you're still belching and complaining!

Do you want me to have the NPHC's back or don't you? Dang!
