Unhappy 2005-2006 Theme

Maybe it's just me, but is anyone else out there disappointed with the 2005-2006 Theme? I'm wracking my brain trying to think of ways to decorate for and arrange a theme for our yearbook. The words, "the good, the true, the beautiful" doesn't exactly bring to mind any pictures or images. Does anyone have any great ideas yet?

Bewildered...

I wouldn't say I was disappointed with the coming year's theme, but it's so broad in scope that it can be left open for all kinds of interpretation. I'm interested to see what good, true and beautiful art there is out there...then again, I can always create my own.

Good luck!

I was sitting at a table at our founder's day banquet with 6 members from the KY Alpha Master chapter and one sister from my chapter(wemix up chapters at tables so people can get to knows others from other chapters) and when it was announced, my sister from my chapter thought she was about to say "the bold and the beautiful" hahah----I think she was slightly tipsy on her apple martini

Yeah, it does sound like a soap opera, doesn't it? Truly, though, it's a lovely theme. I'm looking forward to seeing what people come up with visually.

Actually, this reminds me a lot of the commercial for the Marines--"The Few. The Proud. The Marines." I thought more of a patriotic/pride type thing--pride in one's self as a member of Beta Sigma Phi and pride in the organization as a whole. I do agree it's a hard them.

I do know that there has been discussion elsewhere and Karen referred to this.

In our motto, "Life, Learning, Friendship," LIFE has pride of place,
because without it there would be nothing else. Life leads us to all that is Good, True and Beautiful.

Hope that helps!

I thought of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," the old western. It would be fun to do a western theme social with "The Good, the True, and the Beautiful."

It certainly isn't as concrete as some of the recent themes.
