Helping hand to NYC and DC

I know that its not all that much, but I'm helping to collect stuffed animals to send to the children of the firefighters, police officers, and EMTs who lost their lives saving others. If anyone is interested in helping out and sending stuffed animals I would be more than happy to e-mail the address to send them to once I get it. Please drop me a private message if you are interested. Also, remember to go give blood in a week or so if you are able--even before the tragedy the Red Cross blood supply was at a VERY low level.

Fraternally,

If the lines at any blood drive around where you live are simply too long, there is still always a need for it and try back again. I have heard of about a three week window where blood from blood drives could be needed for the tragedy.

Send a message via AIM to Peaches-n-Cream
So many people have done so many wonderful things to help the New Yorkers directly affected by the attacks. I recently read that there are about 7,000 children who have tragically lost at least one parent. I am certain that anything that you can do at this is the time of year for these children would be greatly appreciated.
