Thumbs down School Food :(

So I've been early at back at school for almost two weeks thanks to RA training and am SOO sick. The food here STINKS!!! It's worse than last year. My stomach is all out of wack. The 'meat' is all pink, veggies taste weird, fruit is too waxy...i end up eating pasta, pizza or lucky charms for dinner. The gym is calling me to come visit I know.

To top it all off..while eating a slice of deep dish pizza tonite I bit my tounge...hard SO i can't even chew gum!!! Ok i'll take my grumbles back to my weat thins and diet rite soda...

Anyone else adjusting to college food again?

I become a vegetarian at school, because I refuse to eat the "meat" in the dining hall. Everything else is pretty nasty too. I usually juts stick with veggies.

Well, this weekend was freshmen move in, so the our cafeteria was serving pretty good food this time. However, once the parents leave the area, we know it's going to back to mexicali surprise or wierd fish/pork/??? in the week.

I generally tend to avoid our cafeteria as much as possible. We have a food court, and other options on campus so it's cool.

When I was an undergrad at GMU, if I went to the dining hall LOL I usually headed straight to the pasta bar and then to the salad bar. I definitely stayed clear of the hot food line. Most of that stuff was recycled junk or some kind of mystery food. GMUTeke, Is right. We have a food court there thats pretty good. I remember making a lot of trips to the taco bell there in Student Union 2.

This topic brings back so many memories. The food during my undergrad days left a lot to be desired. However, our student center had a cafe and we could use our meals plans there, too. It had a Pizza Hut, Subway, and a place that made burgers, fries, BLT's, etc. So, I got at least one decent meal a day! But I feel your pain.
