Formal Favors?
We're having our first ever "Xi-Man" Formal in a few weeks and we're trying to come up with an idea on what kind of party favors we could give to the sisters and their dates and the other guests. We dont have a very big budget for this - but I'd like to see what kind of favors you all have done at your formal events so we can get some ideas of our own. Thanks for your help!

Usually we get glasses and/or picture frames. One year when we did glass beer mugs, the guys all got mugs that said "the next best thing to being a KLP is being a KLP's date."

We've done T-shirts that say a similar thing to the above for our Crush party (the next best thing to being a Sigma Kappa is being a Sigma Kappa's crush)
I also have a pilsner glass and a Martini glass gel candle.

We did one where the girls got champagne glasses and the guys got engraved flasks - they all seemed to like it.

Expensive? I'd think the flasks would cost quite a bit.

We only ever did t-shirts. We put it to a vote for favors, but it is cheaper to decorate your own picture frame than to buy one.  And we weren't allowed to do glasses or flasks...
I'd go with shirts-- you could offer a long-sleeved version that would be good for colder weather. Or a hoodie. Save money by collecting money before submitting the order.

My (biological) sister's sorority did flannel pjs. The girls were given the shirts (they were nightshirt length) and the guys were given the pj pants. I think they had a screen printed logo on the shirt pocket and on the pant hip.

We had t-shirt, boxer shorts, glasses, picture frames, and candles. I have also seen pens, sunglasses, and key chains as favors.

It's a girly thing. Most fraternities (at least on my campus) didn't do favors.
