I'm getting old. This show sucks.

And this is the only time this year where I've seen any videos being played on MTV!

They have gotten progressively worse every year. Last years VMA's were HORRENDOUS...imo. This year is a little better.

My favorite year had to be when Jimmy Fallon sang all those parody songs and impersonated the singer...ie. Enrique Iglesias, Avril Lavigne, Nelly..lol

I actually attended the MTV Video Awards way back in *gasp* 1990. Sigh. Sometimes it sucks to not be cool anymore.

I watched on and off.
I saw Christina start to sing, but then took a phone call. She sounded good as usual.
Justin was pretty good, but he sounded a little out of performance practice - though his dancing was great.
Beyonce - I hate that song. And I didn't like the drill team/pom squad dance in the middle of it.
And Vanessa Manillo - her dress was way too similar to what she just wore to the Emmy's on Sunday; clearly the same designer - tight satin with too much sequins.

But I agree, they seem to get more and more boring each year.

Ugh did you see how UNORGANIZED the Post Show was? They kept missing their cues and they would say "ok back to you____" and they wouldn't cut back the other VJ. MAN! My 12 year old cousin could have done better than that.

But then what to we expect...its MTV.
