Can't believe I spent my money on........

Have you ever spent your money on something you thought you never would? What was it, and was it worth the money.

Friday I hired a cleaning service to come in and give my house a thorough cleaning. Never could justify the cost in my mind for wasting money on such a luxury, although lots of my friends have it done. Well it was worth every penny. These ladies did a great job, followed my long list of demands to a tee. I'm convinced, and will get it as often as I can afford.
Another thing. I remember when they first came out with bottled water, I told myself never, but now that's all I buy.

I was thinking about doing that too.
I just feel bad about spending money on something I know I could do if I stopped being lazy and made the time to do it.
But I think I might break down and have a cleaning service do it for me.

I spent my money on something I never thought spend it on to.
You know how you see those collectors that spend so much money on one item to complete their collections, and you go, "They are CRAZY!"

Well... I did that. I collect Black Barbie Dolls and there was one Barbie, called "African Goddess". I had to have it!
I'm too embarrassed to say how much I paid, but if you knew, you would probably say "You're CRAZY!"

I try to make myself feel better and say 5 to 10 years from now, it could be worth twice or three times what I paid for it.
So I choose to look at it as an investment .
