Just do what I did, buy a diesel. Diesel is 20 cents cheaper here now than unleaded.

Welcome back, buttmuch. And happy belated birthday.

If anyone wants cheap gas, don't come here. We have the highest average in the country.

Go to Utah. They've got the cheapest.

I paid $2.73 yesterday. It's supposed to get worse before it gets better....especially if we go to war with Iran. I'd buy a bike but I'm 10 miles from my office so that won't work too well.

Even though I know it says it on the website for MSN Autos, I thought I'd just give another warning - the prices are not always accurate (and it's not just a "changing price" deal).

Last night, I checked to see what it said the prices were in my hometown. One of our "cheapest" stations was listed as the most expensive at $3.11 - none of our stations in town are that high (our highest at the moment is $3.03).

Just take the prices with a grain of salt, is all

$3.03 today for me & my hubby paid $3.14 yesterday. Damnit! I'm sick of this crap. It's costing us a fortune.

I wish it were that way everywhere. Diesel here is juat as expensive as the cheapest unleaded; I filled our Jeep CRD at $2.77/gal last week.

My dad and brother are working out a Biodiesel system for our house so we can fuel the cars from...yep...used french fry oil. My family is rather nerdy. My uncle the farmer figured it out first, and uses biodiesel to fuel his tractor. What does he farm? yep, potatoes. Sort of weird and cyclical like that. Check it out:

And for me? I just ride my bike. I'm training for an Ironman anyways, so I'm killing two birds with one stone...exercise and transport.

That is crazy.

Anyways. You should ride your bike from Huntington beach to Santa Monica. Then you'll say. "Goddamn I wish I had a car"
