Post Hard to Quit!

Sorors & Sisterfriends:

We all have them, you know that vice, habit, addiction that you want to, need to stop. What has been the hardest thing for you to stop, and how long did it last?

I'm trying to stop smoking. It's been 8 whole days. For the most part it's easy, until I get in one of those "SMOKING SITUATIONS", such as going on the riverboat. It just seems like it goes hand-in-hand. Smoking and gambling. Once I kick the smoking thing, gambling will be next. LOL

Good Luck - I know how difficult it is to quit!!! I've been smoking for 18 years and can't stop. The odd thing for me is I normally don't smoke until I have a drink. I can't have one without the other.

Hang in there.

Professor:

Isn't it funny how those things usually go hand-in-hand. Mine is gambling and smoking. Yours is drinking and smoking.
I did stop for 4 years. Then one New Years Eve, I started back up, that was 5 years ago.
