That's the second year in a row for Camden. Good going, NJ! lol
I'm supposed to be going to Richmond for Christmas. That's great.
Just great.

Who ever created that list was full of bull. What's supposed to be so bad about st. louis? Neither NYC, Chicago, Miami, nor LA were mentioned.

I think the size of the city + # of crimes reported is the equation used, so if EXAMPLE: West Bubblefreak is a city of 100,000 but has 25, 000 crimes reported but East Bubblefreak is a city of 1, 000, 000 with 25,000 crimes reported, West Bubble is more dangerous.
Just my take.

I also live in Atlanta and am originally from Detroit. They had a report on tv earlier this year. The report stated that a few cities were not reporting their crimes to the national survey. They speculated that the reason why is because a nice amount of the cities revenue come from tourism and who wants to visit a city that’s on a most dangerous list. Atlanta was one of the cities caught doing this. As time goes on more cities will get caught if they are doing this. I think some other cities are defiantly missing from this list.

I'm not too surprised that DC isn't up there. With all this gentrification, the crime rate here has been on a decline while crime in Prince Georges County, MD (right across the line) continues to grow.

The scary thing is that I'm a part-time resident of the 9th safest city in the country and a former resident of the 13th safest city. Yes, I'm one of the 1.5% AfAm population of the OC.

Hmm I am very surprised about Gary, Indiana
ETA: However, it is the largest city in Indiana, very close to Chicago and the birthplace of M.Jackson

Gary is my hometown and I'm scared to roll through there during certain hours of the day...It was once the Murder Capital of the US
It's very sad though because the city just looks so drab and from what my momma tells me...it was once a very nice city

Yeah I went back to edit my post, I was just thinking there are some places that are scary in Gary. However, I just thought that some other cities would be at the top 10. Im from Fort Wayne and I've only been to Gary a few times to visit college friends and it wasnt' that bad of an experience.
