Dr. Phil

My chapter was invited to be on Dr. Phil but national headquarters nixed the entire thing.

HQ doesn't allow us to be on TV representing Sigma simply because you NEVER know how the finished product of the show will portray us. Am I saying that Dr. Phil would make us all look like a bunch of catty, horrible girls? No. But their perspective is "better safe than sorry".

I agree with JocelynC. TV can be edited so that the context of what you are saying is completely different than what you intended. Things are cut and changed for "drama" and I think that even the Dr.Phill show could have turned into a Greek Bash Fest. It was cool that you were invited though.
