Better Grad G.P.A.

I was curious about the sorority's stance regarding individuals who try to join as grad members because they had deficiencies in their undergrad that they overcame as grads. For instance, my sister has always wanted to become a member of this fine sorority since she was in the 5th grade. She went to college and had a B- average for the first year of her undergrad studies. She was a 3.8 student going into college, but she was the first in our family to go to college so it was a major adjustment. To make a long story short, she had some bad semesters throughout her undergrad and her gpa when she graduated reflected this. However, she was able to get into grad school and she now carries a 3.5 as she progresses towards a masters in psychology. My question is regarding whether or not she can be a candidate for membership although she graduated with less than a 2.5, but now maintains a 3.5 at the grad level?

Being the first in your family to attend college is a major adjustment, esp when being away from home. I experienced that as well. My grad GPA is almost a full point higher than my undergrad GPA!
