This is a dumb question, but if you're underage and caught with booze, they can charge a person with alcohol possession? I never knew that.

I think it's the same as MIP-- minor in possession. I see it all the time when we're tailgating on the golf course at Michigan.

They can charge you with MIP even if you don't have the alcohol on your person, but you're carrying it iIN your body (ie. after you drank it, if you register a BAC on a breathalyzer or blood test).

My younger brother got a DUI in Texas with a .001 BAC.
The laws are pretty tough on minors.
Sad to see this happen at their Indiana chapter, that's one of their flagships.

As they should be. (the laws that is)
I know many young people who do not know when to stop. Unfortunately I know many of age people who don't know when to stop. Normally it's the fellow underagers who are encouraging that person to keep going, and it's the 21 and uppers who are tryin to get their friend to stop especially if they know they have to drive.
Michigan has zip zero zilch. Is it like that everywhere?

I don't disagree. It was kind of funny though, he hadn't even had anything to drink the day he was pulled over. It was left over from the night before
