Winston-Salem, SC?
Anything fun to do there over a weekend? We've done the Google thing and have a couple of ideas but thought the fine folks of GC may have suggestions. Anyone?

Ziggy's is in Winston -- it's a cool little dive bar that has GREAT bands. I saw Sister Hazel in concert there my freshman year in college.
Lemme see if I can find their web address to get a concert calendar.
ETA: Here's a link to Ziggy's.

I was there for a weekend looking at Wake Forest for law school. Liked the area. We ate at two places that were really good, I can't remember what the one place was called. The other one was BBQ and I think it was called Pig Pickin's or something.
Look for the big pink tampon building, too. That's another thing I randomly remember

Ziggy's is a cool place to check out bands. I once saw Jump Little Children there a few years ago.
Renolda Gardens is a great place to visit, and it's near Wake Forest. If you like plants and vegetation, then this is a nice place to go to. I'm sure the flowers are in full bloom by now.
If you like history and some gooood cookies, try Old Salem. It's a long walk, but it's a tour of Old Town Salem, and people are in costumes as if they are living in that era. It's just like Colonial Williamsburg. And make sure you pick up a pack of Moravian Sugar Cookies, or ginger, chocolate, lemon, etc. They are the best!

It's a nice big phallic symbol :P
I'd also suggest Ziggy's (just check to see who will be there) if you want to go out at night. They have a few 24-hour Krispy Kreme places, so those are always there if you don't have the luxory of having them in your hometown. And if you just want to shop, Hanes Mall is HUGE.
And like JupiterTC said, the Moravian Sugar Cookies are amazing. When I was in school in NC, my neighbors would have be bring back boxes full of them for the holidays.
