What have you outgrown?

I was just thinking this morning about how much I have out grown. What have you out grown?

Things I have outgrowned or become tired of:

*watching soap operas
*buying magazines (most of them have tons of ads; I will buy a magazine every once in a while if it's good)
*watching reality shows (I never really watch any but the few I've see I'm tired of)
*entertainment shows such as Entertainment tonight, access, etc
*anything celebrity focused such JLO specials, Ashley Simpson, etc
*these plastic surgery shows, Dr 90210, Extreme make-over, etc I don care if you have surgery; have all the surgery you want. I just don't want to see you on tv getting your surgery
*I'm sick of seeing these music videos with half naked women dancing around while the male artists have so many layers of clothing on they could pass out from all the clothing.

Things I hope I never out grow

*hanging out with friends and family
*going out and having a good time
*being respectful of others and being a kind and caring person
*continuing to learn something new
*stay connected with close friends
*going out on great date with a good guy
*Being a Phi Sigma Sigma Through and Through (Edited because I wanted to add this)

Watching TV. We only have 5 channels (no cable or anything) but I was housesitting for some people that had satellite this weekend and I couldn't even find anything I really wanted to watch on there. I ended up turning it to one of the music channels and just listening to music while I did other stuff.

Grown out of:

-Concerning myself with being Mr. Socialite in this city.
-Greek Girls
-getting trashed
-college lifestyle
-worrying about my friends and wtf they're doing with their lives.
-drama (still working on that one)

Hope I never grow out of:

-loving music
-staying healthy and fit
-hot women
-being a good friend
-making money
-making the most out of everyday in this life

i could never go out of being with greek girls. I find that they understand u alot better then GDI girls. And for things that i wish that i didnt grow out of that would be esay bc i really have grow out of drinking but i guess that what happens when you grow up to quick.

Thank goodness that I got over this stuff!

-Reality TV. I gave it up after Real World Hawaii.
-Guys in fraternities.
-Talking about living NYC and Manhattan nonstop.
-Dave Matthews Band, Phish, and other neo-hippie jam bands.
-Trying to be nice to people who aren't worth my time.

Glad I have grown out of:
*Real World/Road Rules
*MTV in general
*Soap Operas (GH was never the same after Jonathan Jackson left)
*Fraternity guys
*football players
*staying up until 2am on weekdays
*worrying what other people will think of me

Hope I will never grow out of:
*being proud to be an Alpha Chi
*seeing beauty in the common things of life
*staying true to myself
*being comfortable with my body regardless of what it looks like
*exercising
*my nose ring
*being an adult, but still remain young at heart

Things that I outgrown:
-soaps
-pleasing people...out of insecurity that is, but living in this political world, pleasing people to get ahead is sometimes necessary.
-magazines like cosmo - men's magazines is where it's at.

-video games, except for grand theft auto!
-SITCOMS
-Meat-market clubs! I've outgrown this pretty recently. I used to live for them and was disappointed that I rarely had the chance to go to them. I had enough horny 16 year old boys, still in braces, trying holla' at me lol. I also like to TALK and LISTEN to people. That's pretty hard to do when you have Chingy music blasting in your ears.
-Starting drama...in real life.
-Not taking personal responsibility.

Things I hope I never out grow:
-APO
-Going out. Though I'm not crazy about meat-markets anymore - I'm all about shaking my booty, meeting new people, and acting a little crazy.
-Not taking life so seriously.
-My current beliefs.
-Knowing how to have fun and making it a high priority in my life.
-My current taste in music, clothes, men, friends, and food.

- meat market clubs
- getting drunk/going out constantly
- soap operas
- real world/road rules
- sowing my wild oats

Hope I never outgrow:
- fitness/love going to the gym
- love of my family
- love of dogs (I want a puppy soo bad)
- my beliefs

-getting trashed like I did in college
-drama
-cosmo - it's the same articles recycled over and over again.
-bad beer
-bad alcohol in general
-MTV
-Reality TV
-thinking about how things "could have been if.." (This is by far the most liberating I think.)

I've outgrown giving a rat's ass what anyone thinks of me. That's pretty much it.
