Question Franklin & Marshall

Does anyone have any information on the Franklin & Marshall Chapter? My undergrad chapter just had a leadership consulatant who told one of our girls that the F&M chapter has been shut down. They are no longer listed on the national site either.

I'm not trying to spread rumors, just trying to get some information, as its sad to lose a chapter!!

F&M has been closed due to reasons I'm not going to discuss publicly, but you can PM me if you'd like to know.

I am a sister of the franklin and marshall chapter. I graduated last year and have been in contact with the chapter throughout the whole ordeal. Yes the chapter is closed, but I feel that they have been mis-represented through Sigma's eyes. There are rumors that I have heard about us going around, and it makes me upset to think that my chapter is being accused of ridiculous things. We have the support of the college still, and they are allowing us to stay an organization, obviously not Sigma, but we are the model sorority on that campus. We were the first ones to fill all the guidelines needed by the new recognition rules that the school put forth. We have the highest G.P.A., we do ACTUAL community service, our new members G.P.A.'s during their semester as new members actually rose, unlike the other organizations. so please, if you want to know the truth, P.M. me and I will explain exactly what occured between sigma and the delta nu chapter.

F&M

I'd love to know why the F&M chapter closed...it's always sad to see us loose a chapter! I can't imagine what I would feel like if it were my chapter (Alpha Iota) closed!

Melissa

basically, it was a lot of silly things...they think even yarning the house on big-day is hazing, so poop on that, and we had beer cans in our trash b/c they are always strewn around the house (wel ive near the frats and bars)...we would send in the paperwork that we needed to to get off of probation, yet they say they NEVER received it...i was on the executive board, I SAW US SEND IT...so whatever...i still love sigma...ther'es more, but it's just exhausting to type. slam-violets

Oops...I thought I had sent that to you as PM!

In any event, I'm still sorry the chapter had to close!
