Cardiac Care Week/Month Activities

What is your chapter (collegiate/alumnae/one you are invovled with in any way) doing for Heart Month and Cardiac Care Week?

Cardiac Care Week is this week (Feb 7-11).

Monday: We ordered red Alpha Phi wristbands that say "Take Heart" and "Alpha Phi" on them and they are really cute. We bought extra if members wanted to buy them for a friend or family member. Great way to promote Heart Month by wearing them all week and beyond.

To order the wristbands from the EO click here - https://www.alphaphi.org/foundation_...ake_heart.html

Tuesday: Fundraiser at Cold Stone Creamery from 6-9. Bring your friends to get ice cream and tell them you are with Alpha Phi. 25% of all profits will go to back to Alpha Phi to benefit cardiac care.

Wednesday: Alpha Phi Wear Red Day. Wear something red to class to show your support. Wear the Red Dress Pin or put it on your bag or backpack.

Thursday: Wear your Red Dress out and about.

To order the Alpha Phi Red Dress Pin click here - https://www.alphaphi.org/foundation_...ents2.html#red

Friday: Everyone wears their "work week" t-shirt that says "Rush your heart out" with the APhi red dress logo on the back. (the chapter traditionally makes a special shirt for "work week" which is the week before Formal recruitment when the chapter comes back to prepare and have fun together.)

We also have a 'Go Red For Women' group on the facebook for our school.

Would love to hear what all of you do!
