Fraternities could catch tax break
Quote:
One bill making its way through the Arizona Legislature could make seven ASU fraternities exempt from property taxes.
Senate bill 1082, introduced by Sen. Dean Martin, R-Chandler, would apply to Alpha Drive fraternities, located off University Drive, north of McAllister Avenue, that own their property. It would change their status with the Internal Revenue Service and protect them against taxation.
