Cash only wedding????
I received an invitation for a former colleague of mine. Now, I usually give the couple a nice check and take pride in picking out a beautiful card. At the bottom of the invitation in bold print it read " NO GIFTS, and NO CHECKS, CASH ONLY PLEASE". I almost fell off my chair. I was like 'dang'. Is it me or was that a bit much?
P.S. They purchased a new home about 5 mos. ago,and both are well established in their careers.
