The President sends a shout out to the OB/GYN's...

Thank you George! I only wish that I was able to truly appreciate your words...

"...We got an issue in America-too many good doc's are going out of buisness. Too many OB/GYN's aren't able to practice their love, with women all across this country..."

How about that women? Have you felt the love lately???

(I swear that I did not make this up)...

Thanks. Now my question is, what in the world did he MEAN to say? Sometimes I don't even get where his slip-ups come from. This one has me really stumped.

Why do Democrats constantly have to bully people and make fun of how they speak?

I dont think he slips up, I think he says what he means and wants to say.

I believe the translation would be "Too many doctors have had to give up their career (passion/love)" .. he was talking about frivolous medical lawsuits.

Why do Republicans have to bully people and act like they will let terrorist walk right in and take over because they were against the Vietnam war?

I'm a Republican who gets tired of the continual rips on GWB's speechifying skills, but even I had to admit this one was funny.

There you Democrats go again with your lying and inability to discuss a topic (usually you flip-flop and straddle we hear).

We all know, however, that the opposite would never be true, right??? I am certainly not making fun of what the President said-in fact I made it a point to NOT say anything about the quote other than just posting it and asking for an opinion. It would certainly be unfair if President Bush was misquoted, but these were his words. Whether or not he meant to say it is not known, but he did, and I for one found it funny, which is different than making fun of him. I actually do respect the office of the presidency, and while I may or may not agree with the policies of the person occupying the office, it is certainly my perogative to exercise my freedom of speech.

BTW...It is NOT a Democratic thing, as I am a registered Republican, and have been since Reagan in '84...But luckily for me, I choose not to vote for the party, but for the person...

I will ignore everything you said because it doesn't apply to me. I made a statement about Democrats making fun of how someone speaks. I didn't make a comment about whether he meant it, whether it was funny, whether you should vote for him because YOU are Republican. So thank you for your generous reply sir, but really, you can keep it.
