anyone know how they have been doing?

Someone please post or PM me...
This is the first time in years I haven't been involved with the chapter during recruitment and it's killing me!

I haven't heard a thing yet, either. I can't wait to hear some happy results from all of our early bid day chapters!!!

Roses,

Well, I emailed the CA and this is what she told me--

"The girls did excellent. Quota was set at 41. The girls ended up with 39 and two snap bids to put them at quota. Overall, we are at 130 members (so no CORs!)

The chapter was extremely pleased with their selection as they focused hard on quality.

The chapter had a bid night theme of "Glitz and Glamour" and had
a movie star treatment for all members and new members with manicures, massages, etc. being given by different businesses in town. The idea was very well received by Greek Life and the other CA's. I think we may have set the standard."

Congrats to the ladies of Alpha Lambda! I am so proud of you!

Congrats Alpha Lambda. Glitz and Glamour sounds like a lot of fun. Do a lot of chapters do a theme? I've never heard of it.

I also just talked to somebody who told me that they had redone the inside of the Alpha Lambda house, bought new furniture, and turned the dining room into the living room and vice versa--has anyone seen it?
I'm in the Boro once a week, guess I could drop by and look, but I usually have my kids with me and would hate for them to tear up the house!

Yeah I heard the same thing. When I was at the ATL alum meeting earlier in the week, I meet the mom of a girl that is now a sister down there. She was telling me that they redid everything and that it was beautiful. I haven't seen it yet though. Can't wait to see it during homecoming.
