Brothers(and when i say brothers, kev, i really mean you, cause i don't think this forum gets a lot of traffic)......


I'm going to be taking a little hiatus from GC for awhile. In response to some feelings that i have been having lately, this is the most honorable course of action. As some of y'all know, i'm going back to school this fall and since unlike my first time through i actually know what i want to do and study, i'm going to devote more time to actual studies.

The chapter at USD has also asked me to serve in an advisory position. I feel that that responsibility along with a new devotion to academics will decrease the amount of time or desire i have for a way to waste time on the web.

In parting, i want to leave you with some advice that Gov. Richard Coke(Texas) gave to the students of Texas A&M:

"Let your watchword be duty, and know no other talisman of success than labor. Let honor be your guiding star, in your dealings with your superiors, your fellows, with all. Be as true to a trust reposed as a needle to the pole. Stand by the right, even to the sacrifice of life itself, and learn that death is preferable to dishonor."
