Vegas Nightlife
The 47th National Convention is almost here. In addition to all the DELTA BUSINESS that will be transacted(I am an alternate voting delegate, y'all!), I KNOW sorors are out to have some fun. IT's VEGAS, BABY! Who has been to Vegas and can offer any insight on things to do and nightlife in particular?

Hey Soror Kimmie,
Girl I'll be in Vegas too, enjoying my Fantastic, Fabulous, Farwest Region. I haven't been in Vegas in a long time, but it seems that at ever corner, there is something to do. If you like clubs, it's there, if you like art galleries, shopping and shows, of course it's there as well.

I'm the voting delegate for my chapter and I can't wait. I'm a bit nervous because I may end up going alone...but, I'm still happily anticipating the grandeur of it all. I'm not really a nightlife person, but, it's my first trip to Vegas and I would love to check it out thoroughly.
Have either of you been to a convention before? What is it like?

Hectic but a LOT OF FUN and you learn a lot. I know I did. You get to see a sea of CRIMSON, CREAM and every shade of brown.
Y'all have fun for me.

Viva Las Vegas
Hey Sorors,
I can't wait to get to Vegas. This will be my first trip to Las Vegas. What better reason to take this vacation than to handle Delta business and who better to share the experience with than my Sorors. Of coarse I have been on the net looking for things to do in Vegas and about how much things cost, so here is some of my research:
Here are a couple of site that give some good tips and tell where to find some cheap things and discounts:
Advice
Cheap Eats
Other sites I found of use:
Vegas Shows
Key to vegas
Las Vegas.com
Vegas.com
Las-Vegas.com
Access Las Vegas
Here is a good site for a free experience and I believe We are hosting an event on Friday, July 23, 2004:
Fremont Street Experience
I look forward to seeing you all there!

Did I hear the words "Vegas"?
Have fun in Vegas for me! I have been many times (we even got married there). I will be there at the end of August (I hope)
Great clubs:
Voodoo Lounge at the Rio
Ra at the Luxor
Studio 54 at MGM Grand
There are some good clubs at Mandalay Bay too

From what I understand the hostess chapter will be selling VIP packages (similar to what was done in Atl) that will include admittance into certain clubs, free beverages, etc. The Las Vegas chapter of NABA is sponsoring a couple of parties, and there will be Club Delta as usual, not to mention receptions, welcome events, and subscription events.
Trust me you will not be void of things to do. But you voting delegates and alternates had better not become sleep deprived because there will be serious business undertaken. *glad I'm not a voting delegate*
Y'all look out for INS2U since she may be coming solo all the way from THE newly chartered alumnae chapter.
