I am so stressed~~~
I am so unbelievably stressed with school work and dealing with friends and it doesn't help at all that I'm sick with a horrible case of allergies on top of it, I haven't slept a good nights sleep in weeks and my roomate is so inconsiderate and just isn't helping the matter. Any encouragement to get through till the end of finals?

I know it's hard to feel motivated right now, but you will make it. I tend to get stressed out a lot, so I know how you feel. One time, I was swamped with schoolwork, sorority stuff, had 3 tests all in one day, problems with the boyfriend, and I had walking pneumonia...that was rough. You'll survive--this time of the year is always toughest.

AWWWW Is your roommate staying up really late? Playing music really loudly? I had to learn how to sleep with the lights on when I was in first year because my roommate decided to have a really weird schedule. That is, studying until 4 am and then sleeping until noon. As for loud music, headphones are probably a good idea. Is it possible to suggest that to your roommate? As for the allergies, are you taking anything for them?

Talk to your roommate about how you are feeling and see if something can be worked out during these last couple of weeks of school.
For the sickness. All I can say is eat right, take non-drowsy allergy medicine, stop drinking caffeine. I know it's hard especially when you need some energy late at night, but caffeine + stress can induce migranes, which will not help the situation you are experiencing.
If you do have time to destress work-out, walk, meditate, or write in a journal. Sounds hippish, but it really works.
Good-luck and if need any other advice just pm me.

It's hard NOT to get stressed this time of year. Here's what I do: I take everything ONE THING at a time, and NOT worry about the rest. Put your things to do in order of most important, and take them one at a time. I've found that worrying just makes it harder to finish your work.
It's helping me A LOT this year. Tomorrow is the last day of classes, and yet I am not stressed. I have a test tomorrow in Music History III, a 7 page paper due Tuesday morning, and my saxophone jury on Wednesday. I'm just taking it one thing at a time...and it's going OK.
If you need to vent, PM me!

sweetie- i know how you feel!
i'm studying abroad in london- and i'm completely swamped with 5 papers! 3 of them are 3000 word ones too... i've been doing research for them- but its really hard to get to a computer most of the time in the buildings- and they close down early too- and i don't ahve a computer at home- i'm freaking out- and i just found out htat i have another paper due on the 7th- along with my experiment presentation write up- and i had no idea that i had to even do this paper- someone just happened to mention it to me (sinc ei'm study abroad- and i'm not taking the finals- we have to do extra work to make up for it- but no on etold me about this- none of the professors- or anything!)
i just want to go home- and i feel like this is never going to end... hang in there! like sairose said- take everything one at a time- you can't do everything at once... so just try to tackle the big things first- and go from there... thats what i'm trying to do anyway.... good luck!
