Sad News: Eternal Sweetheart, Ms. Audrey Brooks passes away

Dearest Iota Family,

It is with the DEEPEST regret and the HEAVIEST heart that I inform you that Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc's beloved Eternal Sweetheart, Ms. Audrey Brooks, passed away on Saturday, December 27th. In my last memo, I informed you that she was hospitalized and in surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

The following information regarding Ms. Brooks funeral has been received by Bro. Randal L. Walker, editor of The Centaur On-line:

The VIEWING is on THURSDAY, JANUARY 1, 2004, from 8 AM to 6 PM, at March Funeral Home, West, at 4300 Wabash Avenue (at Coldspring Lane; 1-800-456-8964) in Baltimore, Maryland.

The FUNERAL will be held on FRIDAY, JANUARY 2, 2004, at 11 AM, at Morgan State University's Christian Center, Baltimore, Maryland. The Iota Family MUST be there by 10 AM!

We are hoping that ALL of you, especially those in the area, who knew and loved Ms. Brooks, attend her home-going.

Lastly, let us enter the New Year with Audreys Spirit giving us the strength, courage and LOVE to do our best for ourselves, our families, the NPHC Family, and the world.
