"thieves in high places" by jim hightower

has anyone read this book? it's ridiculously long and he is wayyyy too caught up in his own "bush adminstration is evil" beliefs for me. I admit- i'm not a huge fan of bush, but i'm also not tremendously politcally aware (as a college student i have slacked on my world affairs. ). I do, however, realize that this freak is taking facts and skewing them to be in his favor.

if you have read this book, how the hell can i react to it?? my teacher is verrrrry liberal/anti bush, and i don't want to write 10 pages on how much this guy has embellished.

help
