LXA Screen saver
Several years ago there was an LXA screen saver available for download on the old National web site. The web site has changed and the free screensaver is apparently no more.
Does anybody remember what I'm talking about and does anybody have a copy of the screen saver that they would like to share with me and the rest of the brothers?
Regards,
John Gezelius

John,
This isn't from IHQ, but one of our guys has done a screensaver and wallpaper. His name is Josh Bennett but we call him JB and he's very good at this kind of thing. Check it out. Here are the links.

Let me know if you like them.

Thanks
Itisn't the screensaver that I was looking for - in fact, I actually found it,lost on another drive - but it won't work with Windows XP!. The clock screen saver that I downloaded fromt he above site works like a champ. Thanks
BTW, if anyone has Win 98, I'll get 'em a copy of the screen saver that I used to have with revolvingletters, fluttering LXA flag, etc.

John, I am still running the old reliable "98". It would be great to get it from you!!!
One of the Brothers from U. Neb. Omaha did a site for LXA items which was neat. Site no longet available and I have not been able to get ahold of him after Graduation.

LXA Screen saver - FOUND - Doesn't work on XP
GOOD NEWS: I found the screen saver that I was looking for. BAD NEWS: Doesn't work in XP. If there are any computer gurus out there with the right mojo, I'll get the files to you if you can reverse engineer it to work with MS XP.

Have you tried the compatability wizard built into XP? It may only be in the Pro edition, but...
Open the Wizard, tell it what you are trying to run and what it was meant to run on (win98). Usually works like a champ.

Compatability mode isn't
I tried compatibility mode last night and that didn't do it. I don't know where XP hides screensaver information. It doesn't seem to be in the WINDOWS directory, nor is it in SYSTEM32 or the SYSTEM directory, either. We need an XP guru with the correct location of the files.
I know it has to me somewhere as I have a couple of screensavers from Azure Bay that work just fine.
Works great and looks cool in 98.

Do a wildcard search - *.scr
You should be able to find your screensavers in a hurry.

I pm'd the seller to ask if they were trying to work w/our friends @ AKL--no response at this point.
Sounds like the people at a suburban Chicago golf course that held Northwestern's golf outing in 2002--all the carts featured signs that said "Lamda Ki Alpha".

Da me, I went back and check the ebay site! Thanks Steve. When I saw the LKA, I almost died!
Just wonder if they did not know the Greek Alphabet!
Khi=Chi!
If anyone buys that they are nuts unless a Jon Sagara can redress it to the right Letters
I really like it though except for that!
John, did down load what you sent me, but being the dummy that I am, I cannot find it!
I am not a PC Geek by any stretch of a mind altering drug!
