Lightbulb Have you had that ONE professor....

...that just blew your mind (in a good way)??

I was in class today and I started thinking about how much I miss one of my professors.

He was this old white man named Dr. Zepp who was the author of a few popular books about Islam. Amazingly he taught a special class at my college freshman year and I was allowed to take it.

He was a brilliant man and even though sometimes he had trouble standing (arthritis) his mouth and mind where sharp and witty. Everything he said was poetic and thought provoking and sometimes I still think about the things that he asked of me. In fact my tag on this forum is a quote he rambled off in class and later forgot about, but I never did...

He could ask things that I normally would be mad about had any other person said. He taught me how to question myself and question the world around me with respect and feeling, not aggression and anger.

Whoo! That was a powerful experience for me.
