My cat ran away

I'm so depressed right now, and I had to share it with someone. I have my cat (the one you met, Mel) here in the states with me. He's been living with me and my gramma. Well, today, he got out. I was taking a nap, and gramma was gonna go and catch him, but she forgot. So, now he's been gone for four hours. I'm REALLY upset...especially because he's declawed! I've been having some complications with the baby, and really don't need this right now. I just feel like crap, and wanted to share.

awww hon, I'm sorry to hear that. Cats often come back though. My cat in high school used to get out all the time. He always came back. They have a weird sense of direction, can find home. We moved once, and he went back to the old house, miles away!

OHMIGOD! I found him! I was on the phone crying to my mom, and she told me to just go outside before I went to bed and call him. Well, I did! And, just to make a long story short...he was in the garage! I just cried and cried when I found him! I'm such a dork! He wouldn't come out to me, because he knew he was gonna be in big trouble! Anyways, he's back and really shaken up...so maybe he'll think twice now!

Thanks P&B...we had a cat that did the same thing when I was a kid! It was crazy!

Yeah for Pedro! John would have been in tears had he known the story! I'm glad he's back!

YAY! Thank God your cat is home and safe!!! Give him hugs for me! I love cats, but am SOOOO allergic to them now. I never was as a kid.
