Question for the Kappas

*Please don't laugh at me, I have limited knowledge on NPHC fraterities*

Why do kappas replace "C's" with "K's"? I thought it was just an internet thing, but night before last I say Kappa party flyer with the K spelling.

Is it because the fraternity begins with a "K"?

Or, is the meaning secret like "Nupe"? If so, I'm sorry for bothering anyone.

No secret meaning at all. We just replace all C's with K's because Kappa begins with K.
