get your philanthropy on

We talk a lot on here about how Greeks never get positive media coverage. Here's one potential way to publicize what you do:

http://www.usafreedomcorps.gov/for_v...ts_council.asp

Basically, an individual or a group (like your chapter) can register and track their volunteer hours. There are supposedly awards being set up. It's a pretty new thing still, but it's really easy to use and doesn't take much time to do.

Now I don't know if this will ever become a big deal or fade away like a lot of presidential initiatives do, but it can't hurt, right?
