Book clubs reading serious literature-Chicago area

Soror and friends:

Does anyone know of/belong to a book club in the Chicago area that concentrates on literary works by African-American and authors of other backgrounds? Not the Eric Jerome Dickey/E. Lynn Harris/Omar Tyree/et al kind of stuff, but more complex books.

Let me know what's out there. Thanks!
