Our beautiful golden anchor
I was looking at my badge today, and I thought how absolutely amazing it is that over 190,000 amazing women have worn that exact same golden anchor.
It made me smile! 
We really do have an amazing sisterhood!

I pull out my badge and my mom's badge and lay them side by side sometimes and just look at them and how beautiful they are. I'm excited that I ordered a guard the other week so I can wear my "Lamp of Knowledge" and also ordered the "Colonizing Member" dangle. I can't wait until they get here!!!

Hehe, I ordered my guard and it should be coming in a few weeks. I'm also going to order colonizing member dangle and honor board dangle. Maybe if I'm REAL good, I'll get a Lamp of Knowledge!

The only problem with the Lamp of Knowledge is that it is not avaliable in White Gold.  My badge is White Gold. My mom's badge is yellow gold...but I ordered my colonizing member dangle in white gold...so I guess I'll just wear my yellow gold lamp on my white gold badge...but who knows...maybe I'll switch them all up every once in a while.

Buuuuut, since the lamp is yellow gold it will stand out more so everyone can see how smart you are! IF I ever get a Lamp, I'll have the same situation, since everything badge related is white gold.
Out of curiosoty, what does your mom's badge look like? One of my sisters was pinned at initiation with her grandmother's pin, which was yellow gold and crown pearl. It seemed thicker and heavier than ours and was just gorgeous! I think it's from the late 1930's!
