What do you miss the most during summer?

Summer can be a nice break, but at the same time, these 3 long months stretch on forever!! I hate summer because I miss:

--My sisters/friends that don't live nearby

--Pike parties

--pulling pranks with my friends

--my crush


What do y'all miss right now? And when do you all go back? (I go back August 20 for marching band)

I think the thing I miss the most is just bum around Phi Mu time when we aren't doing ANYTHING but sitting around in our pj's, gossiping, stressing out, and just chatting. Those times are the best.

I think I am actually missing classes also... I just have to much time in the summer, I need homework or something to keep me busy.

I'm staying on campus over the summer, and since my school doesn't have a summer session, I miss everything so much! I can be sitting here, thinking about what *should* be going on on a typical night, and it's not happening!

Right now, I miss having a porch on my sorority's house (our grounds crew tore out our old one and is putting a new up sometime this summer), and I miss having sisters around to sit on the porch with and talk for hours and hours.

I miss late night club meetings, especially Thursday nights, which are the nights that our campus newspaper does layout. I have to be there because I'm Op/ ed editor. I miss staying up until 4 or 5 in the morning trying to get the paper out. I also miss row club meetings at 10:30 at night.

I miss the food in Commons. I am fending for myself this summer, and I just miss eating in Commons with all the noise and action. And the good food. I miss that. One of these nights, eating all that ramen will give me noodle poisoning...

I miss having people around. With no students here, and very few people here for the summer, it is so lonely!

Most of all, I miss being able to sleep later than 7:30! (I work M-F 8-4:30...arg.)

Last, I miss having a roommate. Sure, there are conflicts sometimes, but I miss actually living with somebody!

I really miss a lot of my friends that aren't around. Something else I miss is that my workouts aren't as fun over summer. I don't have my bros with me in the gym to spot me and shoot the shit about the hot cute PhD students running on the treadmills or doing crunches on the matts.

i miss the 70 degree weather. i miss the fall atmosphere at school. it is so dead in summer school.

i miss freaking out cause i didnt get to school early enough to get my favorite parking space.....yeah right

I MISS SUMMER PERIOD!!!!!!!


It's no fun working in the real world. I miss seeing my sisters, I miss classes, and sometimes I even miss homework! I know, I am a weirdo...

More things I miss:

--I lived in Delta Hall, the smallest dorm on campus. We were all so close(the entire dorm knew each other and were all friends) that we actually kid around and call ourselves the Delta Force, or call ourselves Deltites. We even sign things with a little triangle(for Delta). Honestly, we're all close enough, I consider us a co-ed fraternity without ritual. We had set routines, like we always ate dinner at 5. I miss stuff like that.

--being able to sleep until 7. I work M-F, 8-5, here at college which is an hour away. So, I have to get up at 5:30 or 6.

--My daily routine: get up, get ready, go to classes, ensembles, sax lessons, work, then dinner at 5 with the Deltites, studying, practicing, working out, staying up waaaay too late goofing off, and then sleep.
