Hey I went to a graffetti party that was done by the Kappa Sigs at my school. Basically what they did was sell shirts a week or two before the party and you could buy highlighters at the door so you could write on each others shirts. It was pretty cool they decorated the walls with white paper and had blacklights all over the place, it really made the highlighter stand out. Hope I was helpful.

The graffiti mixers I went to while in college were a blast! We all brought our own white shirts (with or without extra printing on it) and our own permanent markers. I still have the shirt. We basically went around and signed each others shirts - loud music, beer, etc (these were locals at a small college). Basically a closed party where we drew on each others' shirts.

What we did at our house for this party was to completely cover the walls of our basement in cardboard from floor to ceiling. Before we put the cardboard up we went to the arts/crafts store and bought a few bottles of blacklight paint and then just went crazy on the cardboard. When we put it all up with blacklights mounted in various places (like 10 or so) and turned all the lights out it was pretty sweet looking. We also did the whole highlighter on shirts thing. Hope this helps. Later.

Thank you to all of you who have responded. My social chair really loved the ideas! Keep them coming... just another question does anyone have any ideas on any games that you can play or different things to do besides writing and painting things

from my experience with graffitti parties, be careful the mixture of alcohol and white shirts and markers usually ends up dangerous but SO much fun!

hehehe

I've been to graffetti parties before...they are sooo much fun! A good game to play would be to write something on the person pertaining to who they are....like if they have muscles or something write GUNS on their biceps...if your single its a GREAT way to flirt and be social lol those parties (despite a lot of people being drunk) hehe Good luck! let us know how it goes!

We used only highlighters at our graffiti party, just because we know how people can get if they have permanent markers and a little beer. We all went out to Walmart and got the cheap hanes undershirts and tank tops. Some of the girls cut up the shirts and made them a little more girly (cutting it shorter in the torso, cuting vee's in the neck, cutting the sides into little strip and tying the together...) Everyone got really creative so that even though your were wearing a cheap white shirt, it was still fun.

The TKEs held a graffiti party my freshman year and they decorated with black trashbags instead of the white paper and went nuts with flinging bleach and smearing it all over the black paper. When you turned on the blacklights it was really cool. I seem to remember some flourescent colored paint as well that was blacklight reactive, but that could have just been the alcohol.

I went to one outside once and people were playing beer pong amidst the marker writing. I like the blacklight-highlighter ones better though... more themey.
