pref night?

How do you improve pref night? What can you do to make the conversations better and to keep the girls so that you get your top lists on Bid day?

Wow, the ideas are numerous=) Every house is collaberating on ideas to help out a sorority with low numbers, just thought you might have some ideas so we dont have to give them all ours.

my sorority invited 8 women to our pref nite...
3 came. 2 are sisters now... one would have been a legacy but went with another org.

Don't pair up the shyer/more reserved rushees with the sisters who are overly exuberant or will cry buckets - you might frighten them. Unless they are already friends, of course.

Try not to seem too anxious. Again, it will scare rushees off.

If you have a ceremony, make sure it is something that actually means something to the sisters - not just something you got from the chapter consultant that worked for her chapter. Something like this should not only say this is what XYZ is about, but this is what THIS chapter is about. (If you have a written ritual that you have to use, of course, scratch this last comment.)
